America Plants The Flag Under the North Pole
- Britain, Norway and America were the the countries in race to claim the Arctic and North Pole.
- Peary tried to reach the North pole 4 times and finally succeeded on April, 6,1909.
- Fredrick A. Cook was Peary competitor because, he claimed he found the North Pole one year earlier (1908) but, didn’t have enough evidence so he fled the scene.
- Peary’s evidence was thin and he proved in revealing his logbooks and diaries that may have supported his assertion.
- I think he may have but, there is always that thought he could have just planted any pole when he gave up. I think he did but, i don’t think the Fredrick Cook ever did because, he barley any evidence.
